About Us

Our Vision Statement

Our vision is to “to know Him and to make Him known” with excellence by bringing the good news to our neighbours, and discipling believers in a Holy Spirit environment, while fostering a church culture of love, care and giving.

Elim Family Worship Centre Statement of Faith and Doctrine

1. We believe the bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative word of God.

2. We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (The Holy Trinity).

3. We believe in our Lord Jesus Christ (God the Son), who is fully human and fully God, in his virgin birth, his sinless life, his miracles, his vicarious and atoning death through his shed blood, his bodily resurrection, his ascension to the right hand of the Father, and his personal return and glory.

4. We believe that repentance and regeneration by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ is essential for the salvation of lost and sinful man.

5. We believe in the resurrection of the saved to the resurrection of life and of the lost to the resurrection of damnation. We also believe that it is our responsibility to maintain a spiritual walk and even after we have experienced regeneration, it is possible to fall back into sin again.

6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

7. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit for believers with signs following.

8. We believe in the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit for the edification, exhortation, and comfort of the church, which is the body of Christ.

9. We believe in the sacraments of Baptism by immersion, and of the Lord’s Supper.

10. We believe in Church government by Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, Elders and Deacons.

11. We believe in the obligatory nature of tithes and offerings.
